Get ready for Scholarship 2023
It has been announced by GFWC-Battle Ground that there will be at least $1,500 in scholarship money awarded in the spring of 2023. Plans are in progress for the Ladybug Bazaar to resume in the fall. The bazaar is the primary fundraiser for most projects the club undertakes, including scholarships. If the bazaar is as successful as it has been in the past, the amount of the scholarship might be increased. Stay tuned!
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Battle Ground will award at least one (1) scholarship next spring. This scholarship is offered to a graduating woman from the Battle Ground area. The scholarship recipient must plan on attending an institute of higher learning in Washington state. Grade point average, financial need, and community service involvement will be part of the selection process.
The applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2023.
The winner will receive a scholarship from GFWC-Battle Ground. Her application will also be forwarded to the GFWC Washington State Scholarship Committee for additional judging in the state competition.
